Thanks to everyone for your input! Freedom run is this weekend so, I'd better get wrenching. Personally I don't care how fast I was going but cops always seem to. They must be taking a survey or something.

Absolutely positively agree on this on, going through this exact same issue as we speak on my 13 ultra. Two shops diagnosed it as VSS but did not have the part. I ordered the part through Surdyke and saved some $$.

 

If you bought the Harley version, I hate to say this, but buy another one for backup. Or go for the aftermarket.
