The speedo on my 2012 Deluxe goes off and on, and my headlight gets really bright until the speedo light cuts back on. Any info is glady appreciated!

 

Don't know about the headlight, but I had the intermittent speedo light on and off on my 2012 Heritage. Replaced the voltage regulator, and that fixed it.

Does your check engine light come on around the same time? That was my other symptom - throwing codes.

There was a recall on voltage regulators in 2012. My VIN was not in the recall, but all the same...

Ordered a chrome one, so yeah - more chrome!!

 

the check engine light doesn't come on. I was told it could be a loose battery terminal ,which Iv'e since tightened. I'm gonna check the battery, then go from there.
