Either Windex or the Harley Denim Cleaner.

Revzilla sells Ducky Spray. A friend swears by it for matte paint.

Normal waxless carwash soap and water for a wash, then Wizards detail spray for matte paint between washes and to get the dust/grime off the paint...

I use the Harley Denim Cleaner. Since there is not much area to clean I figure one bottle will last me a long time, so might as well get what I know will work.

Harley denim cleaner is more or less windex with the HD tax included! Windex with ammonia does a great job

Ty kind sirs. also, I heard if you dilute simple green it's basically amazing? I'd be nervous trying that out though. Anyone have any experience with it?

Water only has worked fine on mine for years.

I have used windex on occasion but the much cheaper and larger bottle of Dollar General's store brand. Same with their version of Simple Green. Bigger container and lower cost. Smells the same even.

Yes I'm that cheap.

I wouldn't suggest using regular Simple Green. It doesn't play well with some metals, to include aluminum...

I purchased a large jug of Simple Green Extreme... It's more expensive than regular simple green, and it was made for the aircraft industry..... it's a different formula that doesn't hurt metals, including aluminum.

Having said that, I have no idea what it will do for denim paint, but I won't use regular simple green on my bikes, just Simple Green Extreme...
