They guy at the used bike shop that sold me the fat boy is cool and honest as hell. I figure he will be fair with me if I trade it in, but still. I read online that the wide glide and breakout are 1 and 2 for leg room. The soft tail is more my speed but I will have to go out of pocket a few thousand at least.

If you want try a road glide even though its basically the same as the other touring bikes mentioned, you are less likely to feel cramped.
At your height a tall boy seat would probably still be needed

Some taller apes pushed forward will do wonders making the bike feel bigger and stretching you out some. Those bars are for a short person that has issues reaching them to begin with.
