Breakout rear tail light 1157 or 1156?

Default Breakout rear tail light 1157 or 1156?

I called my local harley dealership but they have no clue the 1157 or 1156 as required by custom dynamics


Which one should i buy?

Possibly neither ...2017 Breakouts have combined LED turn/break/running lights already do they not, or where on planet Earth are you? lighting can be country specific.

Maybe best to email Custom Dynamics ...certainly not the 1156 single filament tho

Someone told me already it's 1157 front and 1157 rear because i have combined brake turn signal tail lights.

I wont replace the rear just the front they not LED

The 1157 is the old fashioned brass bayonet mount, dual filament tail lamp bulb. I thought Harley switched to the more modern plastic wedge mount bulb (3157 IIRC) sometime around 2000.

My 2012 Slim runs 1157 style bulbs front and rear stock.

My '14 Slim runs 1157s also... Run/Brake/Turn function.

For the fender stop/running light on my Fatboy yes it's a wedge, but the breakout doesn't have the fender light, just the two stalks that do everything. Incandescent turn lights are still either 1156 or 57s

2014 Breakout uses 1157 bulbs in the rear.

Nope, still a good old 1157 in my 2017 Breakout.

Nope. Our bikes, (2001, 2002 & 2005) all have 1156 & 1157 stock bulbs. All have since been converted to LED.
