Or, just get the correct year brackets (2000-2006) from a Heritage and be done with it!

6 of one, half dozen of the other.
buy a take off kickstand, but a new bracket. In the end its all good.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I found a like-new set of 2000-2006 brackets for a good price so I'm going to put my controls together piecemeal. Not a fan of the modern-style boards so I'm going to measure the brackets and see if I can run a set of these with them:
