Been reading some about nano technology oil additives. It is supposed to increase power and mileage 5%-8%. Anyone try one of these additives? Any thoughts or just more snake oil?

 

Personally, I think it's more "Snake Oil." Stuff like this has been coming out for many many years. They all have their own research to prove their claims.

Bt then, some people swear by stuff like this. I know some racers who religiously use GMs "EOS" additive because today's modern oils don't have enough zinc to keep solid lifter camshaft alive. But then oil with zinc is readily available. Just not at Pep Boys.

Lucas Oil has built a thriving business on oils and additives. But I personally don't use it.
