Default Tachometer set up for 07 Fatboy

Anyone come up with a tachometer set up for the 07 Fatboy, I didn't see any in the HD catalog that would mount to the handlebars or handlebar clamps, any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I am looking for the same thing for my 07 FXSTC. The dealer told me Harley doesn't have one for it yet. I've looked at some aftermarket stuff, but did'nt see what I want. We may have to wait a while.

I took a different route and installed the '07 color-changing speedo/tach. It's turned out to be one of the best things I bought for the bike.

Does the Tach / speedo combo have all of the stock indicator lights, and the 6th gear indicator?

Yes. The only thing missing is the clock that's on the stock 07 speedo.

I am SERIOUSLY thinking about getting the THUNDERMAX (see link to the lower right on this forum). It has a LOT of features and looks great. The Kuryakyn one has pretty much been recalled from what I can tell. So you really only have the thundermax, the www.dakotadigital.com or the Harley one with the tach/speedo and changing colors. My pick is the thundermax but if you like oldschool then go with the Harley one.

Regards,
Dean

Not only do you lose the clock, but also 2nd trip odometer, and the mileage displays all the time, even with the key off. I installed one on my '07 Heritage after HD CS said that I wouldn't lose anything. I returned it and used the tach mount off a SE Fatboy. Pricey, but looks better than any other mount I found. No windshield clearance problems with this mount either.

First, you do NOT lose the 2nd trip odometer as you incorrectly state. The ONLY thing you "lose" is the clock as previously mentioned. Second, regarding the mileage being displayed all the time, I say "So what?!" You try and make this sound like it's a bad thing when, in fact, I see it as a handy feature.

With ignition off

Trip Odometer 1

Trip Odometer 2
