Default Thinking of 2011 Heritage Softail

I'm thinking of purchasing a 2011 Heritage Softail that has the 103 motor. It only has 1700 miles, and has full V&H exhaust. It also has security and ABS. It has been garage kept, covered, and no scratches.

Is there anything that I should keep an eye on with this model and year? Is the ABS linked on this bike? I haven't had a bike in 10 years and I just don't have the knowledge like so many here have. The price is $9500.00 firm.

Thanks

I owned a new 2011 Heritage for 4 yrs, 30K+ miles, trouble free.
It is the most versatle and easy riding Harley's on the market. Heritage does everything well.
I would clarify the 103 on Heritage in 2011, I think not. 96CI

The seller said the 103 was an option on the Heritage. I will try to research that. Thanks.

I was thinking the same thing.
I think if I was to come across that deal I'd have to buy it and just upgrade my ride by 2 years.

I wouldn't sell my 09 for $9500 and it's got 25K on it.

Hurry and buy it, it sounds very reasonable.

I just bought an 09 with 16K on the clock for that, and I thought I was getting a deal. Man, an 11 with such low miles is a fantastic price.

I don't know the softail line very well, but I know in 2011 the touring models had a power pack option that bumped 'em up to a 103. Harley was giving them for free at the end of the season much like they are doing now with the 110 kits on the left over 16's

Sweet bike, and good price. My thoughts on it being a 103, engine was upgraded, 103 badging installed on the 96, or its an early 2012, and owner remembers buying it in 2011. Everything I find shows first 103b motors for the softails were in 2012. Did find info on the 103 power pack upgrades, but shows it wasn't available for the 96b motors in 2011. Buy it!

I don't believe the ABS is linked (I assume you mean with the rear brake), though it is ABS front and rear just not linked (I have ABS on my 2013, and not linked). I think the linking came out in 2014.
