Damn man, she's beautiful! You may have just convinced me to go with the 1.25" gangsters. Im the same height as you, can you still do long rides with the 16" apes? Like go for a road trip for a couple days of riding. Really like those linby bars too.

I was tossing up between the two also, I just thought with the 1.5's it became the main focal point of the bike - but, that's just my opinion

I haven't done a big ride with the carlini's yet but I can ride on my springer all day without an issue

You are 100% right. Now that I look at bikes with the 1.5", they don't really flow with the bike. The 1.25" really goes with the bike when the frame and guards are 1.25". Can't tell you enough how damn nice both your bikes are. An inspiration for me ten fold. Good ****ing work man, keep on keeping on bro. Going to be ordering my 16" gangsters very soon.

 

how tall are you, only reason i ask is because i have the 14 inch evil apes, but my stock risers are 2 1/2 inches. puts me at 16 1/2. I'm 6'1 and unless you want them really tall you might want to go smaller

 

I'm 5'9" and am planning on going with 16" gangsters and carlini's high roller risers which I believe are 1.5"
