Softail Slim Owners - Happy or Disappointed???

Another nice thing about the Corbin, which I don't think has been mentioned before, is that they have a key lock on the side, so someone can't just walk up and unscrew a thumb screw, and walk away with your seat. The seat also comes down low enough on the frame to cover up the stickers and tie wraps.
Same reason I like the Leatherpros saddle bags. They are lockable.

I love mine. I even like the stock seat. I am 6'2" 260lbs and it fits me fine. I put 14,000 miles on it since last November and have taken many long trips including an Iron Butt(1k miles in 24 hours) and love it. Mine is even lowered 2" front and rear and has not so comfy(at first) bars.
It is all about being able to shift weight and fight wind for me and I have no problems with either on the slim. I am 45 and have been riding street bikes since I was 14 and it is my favorite bike(out of 7) that I have owned in that 31 years.

My son is in graphic design, and has a nice camera, and does all sorts of cool stuff with his images.

The LA chopper slim long board or the HD Defiance or Defiant slim floor board will solve this. It did mine...seriously. I'm not sure where in california you are from but I ride hwy84, 35 also Kings Road. With my LA Chopper board I can get very low (close to draggin knee) before I even hit anything and I'm not talking about the floor boards either.

The boards are adjustable forward/back/in/out. On this pic I you can see how much narrower they are. I have it adjusted tucked closest to the bike.

Bought Slim S this past summer after selling 05RK, wife didn't want to ride anymore and I just wanted to get back to a basic bike, something a little easier to handle.I love this bike, the low height and handling, the 110" motor, plus it looks kool. No regrets at all,by the way 61 yrs. old,5'8"-220 lbs.
