Default V&H baffles

I'm currently running the quiet baffles in my true duals. Thinking about trying out the regular ones. Are they that much louder? Will I need to adjust carb? Will power drop significantly with less back pressure?

My experience is no change other than less deeper tone and slightly louder.
I prefer the quite baffles but not by much.

I used both the performance and quiet baffles on my V&H straight shots. The performance were loud and a bit higher pitched than I wanted. The quiet baffles were only a couple of decibels quieter but had a much lower pitch, especially at idle. As for performance, I have heard there is little to no difference there, but I didn't measure it.

Not quite the same, but we put V&H twin slash slip ons on my friends Heritage Softail, first with stock baffles, then with the quiet baffles. No difference in performance that he could tell, but he liked the quiet baffles.

I put the same pipes on my Softail Slim and went with the stock baffles. It's louder, but fits the personality of the bike better! Both bikes use FP3 tuners, and were able to auto tune out some minor deceleration pop. A little more pronounced on stock baffle.

Default Baffles

egen I had Vance and Hines duels in my ride I was running quiet baffles I took them out and tried it without any it would hesitate at low roms lacking the back pressure I then put them back in but removed the packing that is around them picked up more sound and it ran fine
