LED turn signals; LH indicator flashing fast, but LH light flashing normal
Hello all,
I tried searching g for my problem, but I didn't quite find the answer I was looking for.
I installed Alloy Art Strut-mounted turn signals and, after installation, everything blinks at the right speed, EXCEPT the left indicator light at the center console try
To be clear, the actual left LED light blinks at the right speed, only the left indicator light flashes fast.
I tried holding the brake and turning on hazards, etc, but nothing seems to fix it.
My questions: could it be the wiring (I believe I did a great job at this, so I doubt it), and would it be bad in the long run to just leave it? If I need to fix it, what would be a troubleshooting method I could use to pinpoint my problem?
Take a look:

This may be of some help, but the turnsignals are only single light, and I attached a Badlands 2 into 1 wire that lets it run as brake-turn-run.
Im baffled that only one side is blinking fast, and only the indicator and not the actual light 😐

Not exactly the same issue, but it could be related...
I changed all my turns out to the Custom Dynamics LED's all around.
At first everything was fine - normal flash rate, but periodically the dash indicator would start flashing faster - about twice normal speed.
C.D. suggested that I cycle the four-ways and let them run for a minute or two, to "re-sync" the signals. It worked.
That fast rate re-appears occasionally, but the four-way trick always fixes it...

I have the actual Harley Davidson LED lights and my indicator on the dash flashes very fast -- much faster than the actual lights themselves which do flash at the proper speed. I have tried turning the 4 way hazard indicator on for several minutes and sometimes this will result in the indicator "synching" with the actual lights -- but it always reverts to the indicators flashing faster than the lights. It is no big deal but it would be nice if there were a way to synch them.

The four way blinker thing didn't work for me ☹️. I had guess Ed it was a wiring problem since it only happens on one side, but I took a look at where it wires into the load equalizer (what I assume was the Badlands 2 into 1 wire) and it looks good. Why would the light then blink perfectly normal? Aarrgh! That question was rhetorical, I'll just live with it for now, and keep a wary eye on this thread

Try this... it's from Custom Dynamics but should work on all Canbus systems. It worked for me but I installed CD signals.
1. Turn Ignition on, but do not start the bike.
2. Turn on 4 way hazards by pressing the hazard button on the
controls.
Turn Signal Sync Procedure
3. Turn the Ignition off letting hazards run. IF the bike has security they
will flash 5 or 6 times and then pause. This is normal. They will go
back to flashing normal hazard mode.
4. Let hazards run 1-2 minutes.
5. Turn Ignition back on.
6. Turn off hazards.
7. Turn Ignition off and then back on.
8. Check function of both turn signals.
