Year round here. When I was younger it was year round period but now I prefer it to be mid 30's or higher

Well since it's almost 80 in L.A. today, I DO! Funny thing, I've been waiting for the weather to break so I could do some work on it but it just ain't getting cold yet, LOL

As long as the roads are dry, there's not too much salt residue on the road and it's at least in the high 30's with no wind it's a possibility if I'm jonesin real bad.

When I was 19 we had a very cold winter, temps stayed sub zero for a very long time. The only transportation I had was an old iron head sportster. Then I met a nice looking red head with a 78 Tbird who ended up being my first wife.

Roads have to be fairly clean of salt & chemicals, and don't ride much worse than this on a Harley.



Do a bit more on this one, though.

Ok, serious question...other than Twiz and Imold (sorry, hacks don't count. ), how many of you have actually ridden in snow, and how difficult was it?

Soft snow and a dirt bike is a blast. Ice sucks, don't matter what the ride...

I tried to ride in 1/4" of snow when I was 19 and wiped out, have not attempted it since
