When ever I can Temp is not a ride ender but snow and ice cause issues.
Came out of work on 2nd shift one night when I lived in the midwest and there was 4" of new snow on the ground and more coming down. Was the longest 12 miles of my life, took 2 hours to get home and more harsh language than I care to remember.
Well since it's almost 80 in L.A. today, I DO! Funny thing, I've been waiting for the weather to break so I could do some work on it but it just ain't getting cold yet, LOL
As long as the roads are dry, there's not too much salt residue on the road and it's at least in the high 30's with no wind it's a possibility if I'm jonesin real bad.
I ride year around. These days though, if I get out in the cold rain there has to be a reason. In the old days, I even road in ice and snow. Not out of choice though. In those days the Harley was my only means of transportation and I had to get to work..
When I was 19 we had a very cold winter, temps stayed sub zero for a very long time. The only transportation I had was an old iron head sportster. Then I met a nice looking red head with a 78 Tbird who ended up being my first wife.
