Default 2006 Softail Deluxe

i just bought this bike with a toolkit installed. I love the kit,but hate how the passenger pegs are mounted. The left one folds up like it should, but the right one had to be mounted to fold left/right, instead of up and down. The second pic is what I'd like to go to but can't seem to find what I need. Thanks in advanced for the help!

In other words, I'm looking for an extended mount/clevis to stick out far enough that I can attach any passenger pegs I want, and still be able to flip them both up..

As shown in the video Johnny Goodlife provided above, you need a footpeg extension. It is just a longer footpeg mount.

Here is one. You can Google (footpeg extension Harley) others.

Thanks for the info. I've had the same issue on my 2002 Fat Boy for who knows how many years. But my wife rides her own and I never have a passenger so I've just kind of lived with it.

I wanted to update this thread in case anyone else finds it later down the road. None of those parts really "worked" for me. In order for the Kuryakyn to be mounted, the rear fender would have had to come off. There isn't enough clearance. And it still didn't give me the length needed to pass the tool kit. I finally found what I needed and
Here's the part #

Thanks again everyone, for the help!
