Just made a deal today on an 01 Softail Deuce. Very nice bike. I am sure I am going to get flamed for this... but the pipes are just too loud and obnoxious.... I know some say that is the point... just not my thing.
It has hooker pipes on it now. It has all kinds of extra performance parts installed... the highlights are Stage 1 kit, screaming eagle ignition.
My question is... are there baffles available to quite it down a bit.. and still have a nice low rumble to it.
I leave for work fairly early.. and don't think my neighbors will like the noise at 5am.
looking forward to picking it up by this weekend.

Congrats on the new bike!
Don't feel bad about wanting to avoid issues with the neighbors; sounds like you're a considerate person.
I'm not a loud pipes guy; I live in a great neighborhood and get along well with my neighbors.
I bought my 08 crossbones last spring and will leave the stock pipes alone; the motor sounds just fine to me; I also like the appearance of the stock pipes.
Good luck with your issue!
