I think you might have found your answer a few threads in, the rest is just forum jibberish. Go to a dealer and sit on em all. Fiind out what fits you and take your time, don't rush a decision. I love my fatty, but my next harley will be a roadking or streetglide. Probably the latter!
Me too.

I'm an FX lover, but I can tolerate a nice looking Fatboy until something went terribly wrong in Milwaukee....

Personally, I think the MoCo totally wrecked the Fatboy in 07'. The design team must have been in a room with black mold growing on the walls.
It looks like a Suzuki now. It fits perfect in a row of metric "cruisers" The only thing missing is the shaft drive.
You know, The MoCo never messed with the classic lines and flow of a Harley. Why they decided to make this new Fatboy look like somthing other than a Harley Davidson boggles my mind.
Sorry, it's just my opinion, and one that I have heard from others over and over again.

Wow, in Spain it's only 31k U.S for the FatBoy.

Man, do we get screwed.

Parts over here are even worse. But thanks to this site I've gotton all my parts imported in from the States and we only have to pay 5% import, plus transport, so it's not that bad. Chicago HD, Zannotti's etc, thank God they're around with their 20% discounts.

Edit //.... And the next person who tells me my 31k FatBoy looks like a freakin' Suzuki ....... I think i'm gonna cry. [&o]

Here's what I would do, that is if anybody cares...

The first step in un-metric-ing an 07" Fatboy is getting rid of the wheels. Something about the switch from 16" to 17" wheels throws things off.
A set of chrome billet Renegades or even the HD Blades bring it back around. the 17" wheels that have an open design look better than the solids.

Second and just as important, a rear lowering kit. Nuff said there.

Third, dump the shotgun exhaust for ANYTHING else, preferable a set of Rinehart Staggered.

Now, were back to looking American!!!

Just my .02 cents.
