Default New front Fender

I hate the stock softail front fender so I am experimenting a little bit. This is the Rick Doss front fender on my train...it's just painted in primer and stuck on but what do you guys think? I want something beefier than the stock front fender but not a fat boy or chopper style fender.

Gives the bike attitude. Maybe just the angle but looks like it could come up about 1 inch or so to eliminate the flat spot when looking at the wheel. Like I say, could be the picture angle giving that effect.

Yeah I agree. I don't want to raise it up because that will put a gap at the front of the tire....but the bottom contour of it needs to match the rim. I think it needs some cutting to get the underside of it to match the wheel.

I agree with you Hammer.Looks much better than stock, but needs a little work to really match the clean lines of your bike.

Yeah I am going to tape it off and try to cut it to match the circumference of the wheel tomorrow I think. It's close to what I am after but if I let it go like that it would drive me crazy so I might as well just get it right the first time.

The front fender is awesome.... Now you need a rear fender. I wonder if they make one for the FX Springer?
