I'm still deciding whether to get engine crash bars on my Slim

I want black ones and I 'think' I like the moustache ones as they're a little smaller and less obtrusive, but they're hard to get over here in the UK and expensive too (£250+)

There's a couple of much cheaper options for the regular shaped bars, but I'm not sure if I like them on the Slim.

So come on folks, if you have engine crash bars on your softail (and on a Slim, all the better) give us a look...

Ask and ye shall receive! Personally, I do not believe a mustache bar has any place on a Slim or a Fatboy. This is the Nostalgic guard from HD. It sweeps ahead a bit and adds to the curves.

I went with the mustache bar on my Slim just for the lower profile look.
I was even able to use that "notch" at the top for a place to hang a small toolbag...

I have the same bar and put the same bag in the same spot for my tool roll. Thought there was enough room and somehow managed to put a dime sized dent in my fender. Didn't think it was physically possible, but it is so FYI.

Yup...mustache bar. It was on when I bought the bike. The foot pads I find are not in a good riding position and when I put the Heavy Breather on, the right one was useless. I added hwy pegs with extensions later.
