Default 2into1 w/Ext. Bags

Anybody running a 2 into 1 exhaust with extended hard bag on their softail? I do not want to install a true dual system but would like a 2 into 1 that extends past the hard bag. Doesn't have to be a fishtail either. Any style tip will be considered. Can't seem to find what I'm looking for so post up manufacturer suggestions, recommendations or pics if you have done something similar. Thanks

^Although it still may not be long enough, this pipe was my first thought as well....

None of the 2-1 pipes (that I know of) for softails are long enough to be flush with the end of the rear fender. I checked and emailed many places. Ive read a couple of folks fabricating a longer head pipe. Some have made the touring 2-1 exhausts work. When you find out anything else, let me know. I want mines to fit flush with my bags.

I know hspring03 used a Paughco 2-1 head pipe and used an eBay muffler/tailpipe but I believe he said the one he used was quiet. I'm leaning that direction but don't want to have to buy a dozen muffler/baffles until I find a decent sound. I still want a "performance" sound and not a straight pipe type sound. If that makes any sense at all.

The reasoning is that the long muffler has no support system on the softail which would cause breaking problems. The dressers that I've had always had a support that came off the saddlebag hanger. How about using a dresser muffler and fabricating a hanger off your saddlebag mount?

Bassani 2 into 1 here, went to the local autozone and bought a 14" pipe and cut it down a few inches. Fit perfectly between the headpipe and muffler. I then used a stock harley baffle heat shield to cover it and made a bracket extended out of flat stock. Pretty easy really and looks factory.
