I used a protractor and drew the lines on the nut and comp with a Sharpie. Then using a 4 ft pipe on the end of a breaker bar, I cranked it until I had the lines lined up at 45 degrees after torquing the nut to the initial torque. I would just check periodically until I got there. It was a pain in the *** for sure.
