Thanks for the link Bluraven. I guess my main problem (besides getting the jamb nuts loose) was not knowing that the whole shock body turns. I expected that the adjuster plate with the holes in it should be the only part turning. I hope if I take the weight off the rear wheel things will turn easier. Sounds like some Progressive 422s may be in my future!

I did a review of the 422 RAPs when I got mine a couple of years ago.
Still happy with them and don't regret the upgrade.

Finally able to adjust them! They were set on the least preload setting and were hard to turn at first but then loosened up. Now I just have to find the sweet spot. Thanks again!
