I believe not. The later model frames are wider at the rear end so the swing arms are wider too.

Which model softail?
CVO Springer, Rocker, and Breakout swingarms and attachment points are wider for sure.

Question is why would you want to put an old swing arm on a newer model?

When HD decided to go with a 200mm rear tire they re designed the frame to allow for a wider swing arm. (although you can fit a 200 in the old swing arms, it's just a bit tight.)

My friends 2006 Fatboy with a 200mm rear tire had a swingarm just like my 04 Duece with a 160 tire. His worked because the rim size was larger and let the tire clear the caliper and it had a rubber band width drive belt.
I had it thinking I could run a bigger tire but they appeared to me the same. However, I could be wrong. I know his fender was wider and I did not take mine apart to see how a wider fender would fit since I had no wider fender option on my bike that I knew of. I rolled it on on ebay.

If you're after a wider rear tire under your bike, have a look at my thread. You might pick up some useful stuff.

short answer is no they are not the same. BUT with enough modifying I'm sure an industrious person could make it work.

Like I've said there are easier ways to get a wider rear wheel/tire under the *** if that's what your desired outcome is
