This winter I'm getting Jezzebell painted 2 tone - black/turquoise....never seen that combo before.

 

Yea Jzabel, the black/turquoise should really stand out in a crowd. Can't wait to see it on your ride.

Lucky I got one of the last numbers bike in the Deluxe for 07. 146/150

 

My dealer has had one of the "limited" burgundy/creme Deluxes sitting on the showrrom floor for months now. Other Deluxe's have come and gone (all other colors), but this one just sits there. I agree that the burgundy does have a pink-ish cast to it, I just dont think it suits the Deluxe that well.

What might be cool (to me at least) would be Black pearl and white gold pearl, or Vivid black and "lipstick" red.

Has anyone seen the new 2 tone green yet? My delare just got in 3 or 4 models in this horrendous combination, It is like a moss green and really bright green metallic combo, it is just plain nasty if you ask me. Delaer said they had to take at least 4, but they doubt any of them will sell anytime soon.

 

I have heard green is an unlucky color for a bike, but I really am waiting to see this paint scheme on a deluxe.



But I still really dig my green and black deluxe.

 

So far the only bike I like this year's Burgandy and Cream on was an Ultra...I'm a girl and I didn't like the Burgandy they choose.

Black Cherry & Cream/ Turquiose & Cream/ Orange & Cream All good choices.

I couldn't find an example but for something that could be really dressed up a Rich Yellow and cream could be cool.... Not as eye popping but could be accented in brown or black.

Ilike the torquiose and cream. But I would paint the tank different on the layout. I'd paint the bottom 1/4 of the tank with the cream and the top 3/4 of it in the torquoise. Like a Dou-glide!

 

Thanks for that.I got myself a magazine with custom hotrods in it just to see some different colour combos.

CNC guy raised a good point.The colour split on the old duo glides with a 3/4;1/4 split looks cool.I think it gives it a more nostalgic theme.The suggestion of the black with a cream with gold pearl sounds good but would love to see it on a ride.

This is kind of off the subject, but only sorta...haha.

What year(s) was the orange/cream offered on the Deluxe? There's an 06 here locally in that combo but I can't seem to find where that color was offered in 06...just wanna make sure these aren't replacement tins...or at least know if they are or not.
