Is it worth paying $500.00 more for the 2017 slim s ,or get a 2016..
I don"t see any change.. But 1 year newer... I guess I am asking is 2017 worth the 500.00 bucks more?

will the 16 be worth $500 less when you come to re-sell in future, or more than $500 difference? The warranty is still 2 years. Compare how a year makes a difference between 2 bikes on NADA.

 

I guess if you were able to get top dollar for 2016 blue book 17,750.. So new 18,500...
So pretty close, but I am wondering if they will be discounted at all (2016)..
I will check it out.. You would think they would clear the floor of 2016..

Bought 3 new bikes since April.....and all I got was a one time purchase discount on parts or accessories.....for each bike but damn....3 bikes from the same dealer in less than a year.....they wouldn't haggle on their prices neither...it was like take it or leave it.....but I have to say, they only charge a couple hundred over MSRP...not like some dealers who charge thousands.....

 

Dealer here still has a few leftover 2015 bikes that are new. They still want msrp. I told them good luck with that.

 

My dealer had $1k off the 2016 and no setup fee. Depending on if your patient you may be able to get it for a bit less. Is the 2017 worth 2175(with tax) more? Nope.

 

Yes...it's a year newer.

 

If there are no changes I would go for the 2016 and get a set of mufflers with those 500 bucks.
After all you wont sell the Slim S Never >))
