I know they're not Bembo's. I took them off the E glide I had to put Brembo's on. It def feels way better with that caliper on it. they are cheap an plentiful an easy to get pads for so IMO it's not a bad way to go. I'd prefer the look of a PM or something but this was so cost effective I'm good with it.

I do not have part numbers for the caliper or bracket, but I will post eBay links to them when I get home tonight.

The rotor on the '05 Deluxe is a floating wave rotor from Galfer. I will be using a floating HD rotor on the EVO when I put it all together. I am sending the gold caliper to Joe at ***** Shiny to have him polish and chrome it. You can find the calipers in gold, silver and black. I paid $97.10 for the gold Brembo with the adapter bracket on it, and you can find them cheaper. I paid $30 for another bracket alone (before I bought the caliper with the bracket on it). This is a fairly inexpensive upgrade for a huge improvement in the braking dept.

More pics to follow...

Here's a bracket for a softail up to 99 if someone needs it

Those Brembo's are certainly the answer for a single disc Softail. I replaced my 6 piston HH with a Brembo and bracket quite similar to Mr Hockey's and the improvement was quite grand. My goodies came from QTMI in California, good money for good ****

Sorry for the slight hijack but on a similar topic - is there any relatively easy way to upgrade the rear caliper on these early softails (mine is a 91) using later model take off parts?

Do you want to re-use that 3/4" Tapered bearing front wheel?
Aren't those "fat boy lo/ softail slim legs" that you want to use from a later 25mm axle set-up?

That will be the issue...

You would be OK with 2000-2006 softail sliders (they used a 3/4" axle)

Well at this point it doesnt much matter as im going with a 21" fatspoke, personally i would like to stay 3/4" axle but its not a deal breaker.
