Let me know if you're interested. I could send some pics and it might save you a good chunk o' change

I went with a Mustang w/backrest and matched the stitching to the bags (white). Good seat, but not perfect. Short of a couch, all seats will make you want to stretch your legs at gas stops.

Just looking for a single seat setup..may end up doing just that..I do have a question how did you attach your fender bib? What does it hook to up front?

When I bought mine it had a Mustang seat on it. I always ride solo and not enough to want a back rest. I prefer the original seat also. My fender bib hooks right to the seat bolts.

Except for that bast@rd Heritage, the FLST. I have been going through problems getting my Mustang Sprot Touring to fit and also a LePera Monterey. What I found out (thanks to someone from Mustang on this forum) is that the FLST Heritage Softail has the later model FLSTC (07, 08) fender on the back with the stud plate and can also be mounted on the side. I was ordering for the '06 Heritage and had to remove the stud plate and get the extended read tongue from J&P and it was still a fight. Thanks to Mustang I ordered a used '07 FLSTC seat off of eBay and it fist like a glove and is damn comfortable. Problem solved.
I have a LePera Daytona Sport Solo for local and a stock FLSTC seat for trips.

Well here is what I have done..I purchased a Ultimate seat with back rest and pillion ( got a good deal on a used one that is like new). It came off of a 2013. I bought the rear fender stud plate that comes up thru the bottom of the rear fender+nylon washers and seat nuts). My 06 has the holes in the fender for this so shouldn't have any problem mounting it up. Will take a pic or 2 this week and post how the ride is..have a pretty long pocker run scheduled for this Saturday so hopefully be able to give another update on the seat. Thanks for all the ideas
