Protective tape rear fender
Greetings, going to a solo seat and was wondering if there's any trick to removing the factory protective tape from the rear fender, other that just peeling it up?

No biggie, just peel it up, or if you must, use Goo-Gone or the equivalent to soften the adhesive. Then apply some wax and you're good to go!

That helicopter tape, Venture Shield, 3M protective coating stuff all comes off even easier if you hit it with a heat gun or hair dryer. It's a high tack adhesive that is not meant to be permanent.

Solo seat huh...WHAT IF a good looking girl want to go for a ride? A fender isn't very inviting.
