Did you ever find out why your bike was idling so high? My 2012 fatboy is doing the exact same thing . Please ;et me know if you got it fixed and how you fixed it . Thank you .

The Thundermax made it livable, but it never got right. I traded it in, drove me crazy.

In the case of high idle or hanging idle on the cable Tb bikes the common cause is the IAC, it's a known issue and an easy fix. The plunger sticks causing the idle to hang.
