Default Heritage dash on a Deluxe?

Has anyone ever swapped out their Deluxe console for a newer model Heritage console? This thing is a work of art and looks more old school than the Deluxe console. It should have been fitted on the Deluxe from the factory.
If anyone has made this change I'd like to hear about it. Tips? Parts used? Thanks.

Look at speedos on the MOCO website for your bike and compare it to offerings for a Heritage and I'm willing to bet they can be swapped.

Actually, if you check part numbers for raw, unpainted tanks, you'll quickly find out if it is a simple swap.

They can be swapped very easily according to my dealer. Yea its backwards thinking from the moco. The deluxe is the throw back bike but has the more modern console between the two. Go figure.

I just did this on my Fatboy Lo. Except I used the blacked out Slims catseye console and put it onto my bike.

I agree. This should of been on the Deluxe for sure. I've been looking up part numbers. Looks to be about a $200 mod. Something to do this winter.

Why put it on the bike when they can sell it in their P&A catalog for additional money? Do right by the customer? Next you'll want good seats!

Look awesome! Sick bike too, one of the best Deluxes I've seen.

Looks great Jeff. Now fork over the details please so I can go do mine. Part numbers, costs and general what needed to be done. Also, where did you find the deluxe braid tank bib for the heritage console. Thats probably the best mod i have seen on a deluxe.
