RE: Kuryakyn Panacea Tail light
Got 'em, love 'em. A word of caution: the taillight will be destroyed if you ride in heavy rain unless you seal up the wiring openings in the tallight/licence plate bracket mount. When you pull the taillight, you'll notice a large opening on either side where the turn signal wiring and harness from the front come through. These need to be closed up. What I did was, after everything was back together and plugged in, fill the openings with silicone gasket maker. Crude, but works like a charm. I'm planning on simply sealing the actual taillight with a rubber covering eventually and removing the silicone. It's a design flaw IMHO, but the systme works GREAT!
I have the matching rear turn signal inserts, so that they are amber and act as driving lights/turn signals normally, but change to red and act as brake lights when the brake is applied. I also put the LED conversion inserts in my front signals. I got the taillight and all signals with the smoked lenses. Looks damn sweet, IMHO!
Here are a few pics.
Cheers!

RE: Kuryakyn Panacea Tail light
Dave, I don't have the Panacea but I went went with the Kuryakyn SmokedLED Laydown Tail Light andSmoked LED Turn signal conversions and I think they look great. You just have to make sure that you put in a load equalizer so they will work ok. If you don't use an equalizer the signals will probably flash ok for the first few pulses and then flash rapid. The equalizers come with the turn signals. They can be spliced in but I went with the Kuryakyn Load Equalizer Adapter which is plug and play.
I also used the Harley Run/Turn/Brake controller but Kuryakyn has one that the load equalizers plug into as well so you wouldn't need the adapter. If you go with the adapter and any run/turn/brake controller other than Kuryakyn just make sure that the load equalizer is upstream of the controller, ie, rear lights to controller to adapter/equalizer comboto harness.
Good

Also running the Kuryakyn tailight without rear turn signals, AND running the Kuryakyn mirror/turn signal combination without ftont turn signals (I really don't like turn signals). Very happy with the setup.
