I didn't know there was a stock seat that's comfortable. I know my wife hated this one and the last bikes seats. They're too small and like she said...it's like sitting on a 2x4. The worst thing is not being able to "try before you buy".

Good luck finding one.

I actually don't see a Vintage Wide listed for the wide tire Softails. I have been seriously thinking about the Regal Duke Wide. How does the two compare as comfort goes. I need to get a taller backrest on the Custom and I will have to change the seat when I do.

And the pics are awesome. Thank you.

I have the Mustang wide touring for the Deluxe and my ole lady loves it. Went out riding for about 3-4 hours each day this past weekend and she was fine.

since we're goin there...

I have the Mustang wide on the 99. Liked it so much, got another with a drivers backrest for the 03. Found the 03 one on Craigslist. $150 below list, and had about 2000 miles on it. Just breaking in!

Looks like this is turning into a booty thread, I might have to ask my wife for a pose just to keep this thread going.

To help the OP, since he is spicing this thread up, has anyone one tried the "Butty Buddy motorcycle seat"? Seems wide and can be easily removed.

I only need the passenger seat for about 150 miles here and there, so I opted for a C&C custom passenger pillion (plus a tall back rest), the C&C pass seat is 11" x 9"w x 2"h, wife said that her booty is cozy on it, compared to the stock brick. I also installed 1.5" rear peg extensions and 4" x 8" floorboards, so the combo does the trick for now!

Looks like that will fit just fine on the Mustang pillion.
