My Blackline was my first "modern" bike after being away for 35 years. It was a '13 that I got in late '12 and we rode the crap out of it...20k the first year and 15k the next. It might not sound like much but we rode on weekends when she was off, which could be 1 to 4 weekend days a month.
Sadly, last year I was rear ended at a stoplight and it did $5500 of damage. A month later, I was riding my current bike...a Breakout, which I wanted when I first saw one...with repairs taking so long to fix on the BL. But the Breakout came out 3 months after I got my BL, so I stayed with it.
One thing about the BL, it's a discontinued model as of 2014-15, I'm not sure which year but it's been killed.

I am in the minority here - went into dealer to look at a Breakout and left with a Blackline . There are a few of us on here , locally I heard that there is another one but I have yet to see it . I believe they were 11(96ci) , 12 and 13 (103) model so you wont see many on the road which isn't a bad thing . Don't forget to post up in the Blackline picture thread !

Another Blackline owner, 1 year now. Had everything else in the last 45 years but this has become my new favorite. No more 850lb. baggers ! Blackie handles very quickly, has (I think) the lowest softail weight, great power to weight ratio, a hard looking stance, capable of teaching a CVO Streetglide a lesson up to 85 m.p.h. My '16 Heritage just sits in the garage because it feels like a truck compared to the Blackline.
