Default Passenger Seat Issues

On my Breakout my passenger pillon is coming loose from the base at the front, down by the two retaining screws that hold the drivers seat in place.

Has anyone else ever experienced this, was there a recall or warranty issue and is there a way to repair it?

Thanks in advance.

If your bike is new, take it to the shop. If it's not, take it there anyway and see what they say? My seat is doing fine...so far.

Do you put it on/remove it often? I take mine off and only put it on when the wife rides. This has caused some wear over time and the pad is a little loose. Not enough to be concerned though.

there is a way to fix it. You can use a hand staple gun with 1/4 inch staples to reattach it. Just look where thr staple holes are at on the seat pan and do not stretch the cover passed those holes.

The problem is between the base and the pad itself.

I bought my 2013 Breakout used and I don't know how often it was removed previously. I've had the bike for about 2 months and it's only been removed 3 times.
Even so, the problem is between the base and the seat pad. The covering is stapled to the base at the front/center and is open at the sides. It appears that the pad is actually glued to the base with some kind of gel and that gel is breaking down and separating from the base.
