just bought a 97 fat boy. want to add a mini tach, but apparently, the MoCo no longer makes one for softail evos? the part # is 67946-96A. anyone know where I can find one? I really only want a HD unit, not aftermarket...

Tach and mount for 1996 and later FLSTF (and others). Unfortunately you have less than 5 hours to bid on it.

 

A hd speedo tach combo is a little more money but it reduces clutter and is plug and play. I have one on my bike and I really like it.

 

I really wanted the separate tach unit. Through Searchtempest, I found one in Idaho and bought it for $75. Great deal.

 

I'm going to get a cheap generic one off ebay, the run like 20-30 bucks. I have a bullet fairing an putting it on one of the riser clamps will work an it not look bad....you can buy/make a mount that uses the rocker box bolt/bolts.
