Cool looking bike! You mentioned that it'sgreat to have 2 HD's to upgrade.....kinda like going back to the drawing board, huh? Time to get those mod-juices flowin' again!
True but with her bike adding mods a little different ... I run everything past her first. It's her bike and she needs to pick how to personalize it, even if I disagree, it's hers.

Looks good! Any problems with the pipes dragging? I've heard that the V&H longshots and other long pipes can drag in sharp right handers.
I had those pipes on my heritage and I did scrape the bottom tip a little when riding 2-up. I fixed that my adjusting the shocks as stiff as they could go. Now dragging floorboards is another story.

A bike for the wife and one for you. Awesome! My wife loves having her own also.
One problem............I can't do any upgrades without doing the same for my wifes bike.
A guy can go broke having to outfit two bikes. Congrats on an awesome looking Deluxe.
Have fun, Be safe.

SMSgt B - Very nice. Riding 2-up is great but riding side by side is sometimes even better. You definitely have a keeper there.

I don't want to hijack the thread but I did have a sidebar question for RACKnRAIL. That seems to be a very lucky lady in the background of your pic that gets to (spread mulch or topsoil?) while you are rolling out of the driveway to go riding. Had a couple laughs trying to assess what is going on in the picture. Pretty bike there too.

I'm with you brother....2 tone is awesome. After the riding season I plan on getting my Heritage painted just like this:

Beautiful bikes both. I think the Softail Deluxe is the most beautiful "as is" Harley on the showroom floor.
