Default handlebars for softtail standard

i hate the sock bars and i want to put drag bars on my bike would i have to change any wires or cables? has any one tried it or know?

Stock cables will be too long for regular drag bars. I have the ones in the link below, pullback drags, and the stock cables and wires work.

i ran 27.5 inch drag bars with 4 inch straight risers on my 2002 fxst andthe only cable i changed(didn't have to)was the brake cable.know i have 16inch apes and will never go back

i have street slammers on my 06 softail. cables are just fine but i do recommend getting braided cables if you need part numbers just ask and i can get them for ya

I just put Nightrain risers and bars on my FXST. The clutch and throttle cable are a little long and had to bend the brake line tubing, but all work OK. Changing all out next week.
