Default Is it just my 110?

I recently switched from a 103CI (Fatboy Lo) to a 110CI (Fatboy S). At around 1800-1900 RPM the engine seems to make a kind of "clicking sound" (sorry, can't describe any other way). Below or above it is not present. Is this common for this engine as I do not recall this from my 103CI?
thanks, Erik

1800 or 1900 rpm is lugging the engine. Downshift and see if it does it around 2500

There are various threads on the forums about the tapping issues... here's one...https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...l#post15168875

Good luck in finding your problem.

Haven't noticed this on my FLSS 110, but interested in seeing what others say- in case it does happen.

Mine ticks which is noticeable on the freeway over 60mph. But my both my 103 Heritages did that so it doesn't seem odd. I don't hear any clicking but I don't tend to ride under 2000 rpm.

Mine ticks, but it's not around that RPM. I don't really stay that low in the rev range. I try to stay above 2000.

I've heard a chirping sound, not sure if this is the same noise you are hearing
