Default '04 FXST--directional signal relo and sissy bar docking--LOOKS?

Anybody have done the relocation kits for directional light relocation and the docking kit for quick release sissy bar setup on your Softail> How does it look (the directional signals relocated)--does it look like a hodge podge setup or does it look like a quality setup?

I installed the docking kit on my '05 Fatty as soon as I got home from the dealer with my new bike. The relo kit is required for the docking hardware. I think HD could have done a much better job in designing the stand out for the lights, but it stil looks good

I chose to put a permanent sissy bar on my Standard. I feel like it gives a cleaner look and doesn't require relocating the turn signals. I would never remove my sissy bar anyway so it wasn't worth the added work and expense.

I bought the docking hardware and didn't bother to buy the relocation kit because I thought it was ugly. I took my Dremel and just grinded down the sideplates until they fit around the existing turn signal brackets. It wasn't hard and looks really good IMHO.

grimm,
that was a great idea. I'm going to have to look into that when I get back from this business trip in two weeks

Do you have a picture of the sideplate after the job done?
