Default Who's installed the Custom Dynamics breakout tail light

Part number cd1054 specifically. I know a few people here have done this and I SWEAR I have seen this problem present before. Just can't seem to find the thread. Hooked everything up...runs fine. But it is in constant bright mode and pressing the brake causes the lights to dim. I have the plugs set up with Black on the top left, blue on the top right, and purple/the other one on the bottom right of the plugs.

Any chance you know the wire layout? I seem to have something backward.

Another quick question. Did you leave the stock signals on?

I did leave the stock signals. And nothing other than the supplied directions for wiring.

Ok I think I may have the pins screwed up since HD pulled them out when working on the fender. The service manual has the following setup:

Pin 1: tail (blue)
Pin 2: brake/turn (violet)
Pin 3: ---
Pin 4: Ground (Black)

Does anyone know off hand which pin is considered 1, 2, 3, and for within the harness? HD pulled the pins out before I got the fender back so it's been a bunch of trial and error here.

If you look really close with good lighting, you should see numbers on the connector. Not every slot/cavity is numbers, usually just the ones on the ends. A magnifying glass might be helpful if you have trouble reading really small lettering.

Every connector housing I've worked with has had the numbers on there - just gotta look for them.
