Default Raise floor boards

My Son has a new Slim and he loves it. Only problem is scraping the floor boards a lot. Is there a kit available that would raise them just a little like 1/2", even 1/4" would help. If not we will need to grind down the edge of them.

Put a bigger front wheel will increase lean angle and look cool

Looking cool is subjective. Throwing off the trail/rake and completely changing the way they bike handles from stock, that could be a negative or a positive.

Your son needs to change his riding style or buy a motorcycle that fits the way he rides. Anything less and it's an accident waiting to happen.

This has been discussed a number of times, but here's the link again:

He loves this bike no way he will change. Don't like the idea of larger wheels
I think we will grind down the edges then tuch up the paint. Won't take much

That raises the floorboards but not the shifter & brake levers, floorboard mounting brackets or anything else.

Pull the floor boards and install forward controls, that's what I did.

He loves the boards. If we could just pull them in 1/4" that would help. I can see now that grinding them down would put his foot to close to the ground

You're absolutely correct: grinding the edges won't take much effort - just keep riding!

Honestly on doubt a 1/4" would be enough. I got to the point where I was scraping the bottom of the back mount. I have V&H exhaust and the mount wouldn't make it 1/4" before it hit the pipes. Moving them forward may help a little. Like other said you have to adjust your riding style, the key for me was cornering late and keeping the bike upright for as long as possible.
