HD ones in black for a few years. No issues. Check the discount online Harley places.

I did the HD one because my factory one was hard to open from day 1. Big fan so far.

Also running the HD cap and blackline dash. Great combo for the breakout. You'll love the new look of it.

Loved my hd one on my old bike. But had a couple issues where it got stuck down and wouldn't open. Will put one on my breakout, but will probably wait till the big ticket items are done

I thought about getting one until I read when they sometimes get stuck shut. I'm sure they can be fix at the moment but I'll stick to my twist off...it never gets stuck.

The getting stuck was a weird situation. Almost feels like pressure holds it locked in. And when it finally comes up, it looks like the whole inside of the cap is saturated with gas. The first time it happened, I needed a wedge to break the pressure and kind of gouged the edge getting it. After that I figured out the right amount of hand pressure to get it to turn. Happened about 3 times, the first time I almost ran out of gas getting it home to troubleshoot.

Is your vent tube possibly pinched or clogged?

I have the Kuryakyn keyed one. It isn't flush but its low profile and a bit more tamper proof than average. I think they only come in chrome tho.

I'm also running the H-D flush cap ... for now. Been running it since I got the bike because the OE cap got stuck a few times and I scratched the tank trying to get it off. The flush cap's trim ring covers the scratches. The flush cap has never gotten stuck on me. The problem with the H-D flush kit is the trim ring. It's just painted/chromed plastic. It scratches and chips easily. The chrome one on my bike looks kinda crappy when you eyeball it up close.

Oh ... H-D does not sell the ring separately either ... gotta buy a whole new kit if you want a new trim ring..... what a racket, eh?
