Default Brightest brake/running light bulb

So whats the Brightest brake/running light bulb everybody running? I want to put a brighter bulb in my tailight so cagers can see me during the day and night. I have alloy art led turn strut lights that I use for turn signals but converted them for running lights to now, but want a brighter tailight without spending a nut on a led kit for it..any suggestions

What are you replacing. I got 2 LED tail/brake lights at Autozone (came in 2 pack) for way under $20. Only needed one. I did it to take load off brake light switches. It's not a lot brighter but sure draws less watts. To get brighter requires a bigger hole. (hence tail lens replacement $100 + Harley)

Since you said "brightest", Custom Dynamics sells LED's that'll burn the retinas out of anyone following you...

Custom Dynamics has a board only GEN136-1157 for $119.95 or the tail light assembly GEN2-SB-R for $149.95. I bought the assembly, this thing is bright!

+1 on the Custom Dynamics listed above. Very bright and well worth the money in my opinion.

+2 for CD, super bright lights. Avoid the temptation to get a blinking strobing tail light, your riding partners will thank you. Nothing worse then being behind someone with one of those freaking things. I get it, great for the cages, but if you have one you are riding in the back, just sayin'.

Probably not the cheapest solution, but I have Bright *** Lights BAL-1 LED tail light. At it's max setting, it's really bright.

They also have a BAL-2 for a lot of money, can't imagine how much brighter it is than the BAL-1 or why you would need it.....

FWIW....
