Default 2000 Softail Deuce Turn Signal Module Access

I just picked up a 2000 FXSTD and I have managed to eliminate the few electrical gremlins except the issue of no turn signals.
The bulbs are good. The front turn signal/parking lights come on but will not flash.
I know the the module is on the fender in front of the rear tire. Is there any trick to accessing it other than a rear tire removal?

Check to see if the deuce has the removable splash shield at the bottom inside fender. My fatboy did and was able to change out w/o fender removable. Mike

Thanks. I'll give that a try. I believe it has one - now I need to figure out how it removes.

Does your Deuce have the run/turn/brake module on it. Mine failed after 6-7 years and caused the rear signals to stay illuminated all the time.

If it does have the module, remove (unplug) it from the harness and check the operation of the signals.

I don't believe it does. Aren't those usually aftermarket and installed under the seat?
BTW, where can I find the part # for this 2000 Softail TSM? It's not being shown at any of my usual spots and it's not in the parts manual.
Is it 68540-96?

Found it. Helps if you read the descriptions of the parts INSTEAD of just looking at the pictures.
