It is a big heavy bike, especially after being used to a Sportster. I love mine, all I'm saying is adjust your expectations and riding style. If you're in the mountains, don't push it. Take it slow. It's a pleasure to ride. Looks badass too, but if you're a fast aggressive rider, this might not be the bike for you.

Just realized you did write you have one now.. How's the lean angle -do you scrape often ? Being a new rider I'm not aggressive, I'm cautious . Mainly flat terrain we don't live in a mountainous region.

What part of jersey, i was born and raised there, moved to delaware right before my senior year.. just because you're a girl means nothing . have seen lots of women on bigger bikes than me. the bike leans fine, i don't lean over to much. but if i do i counter balance.. how tall are you, can you flat foot it. maybe you should go for a fatboy lo.. i bought mine from a guy in jersey from cycletrader.com. it was stock 2012 with 750 miles on it, got it for 12,500. there are good deals on there

The only thing bad about my 2015 Fat Boy is that I like the bike so much that I cannot imagine when I will buy another Harley.

The Fat Boy is nimble but powerful. It takes curves great due to its fantastic balance and low center of gravity. And yet, on the Southern California freeways it will cruise effortlessly at 80+ MPH in all weather conditions.

The Fat Boy is even easier to ride than my Sportster was. Gotta love that.

I love my Fatboy. I suggest rather than test riding one; rent a Fatboy for the weekend and put some miles on it. You'll have your answer by Monday.

Skyemo come and join us in the Queens of the Road part of the forum (it's pink).

There you'll find all sizes and assortments of ladies on all sizes and assortments of bikes. And btw, I have a Fat Boy.
