You want to change your rotor, change it. You changing them for looks? Keep in mind a simple brake pad change takes but a few minutes, you change the rotors, your taking off the entire tire. I suggest using the Lyndal pads. What type of rotors you looking at?

Well I'm just wondering if I should go ahead and change the rotor since it's so close to the min. spec. I really don't know what kind of wear the rotors will take over the next year. I have a 80 spoke wheels on my Heritage and if i change rotors i would like to have something that would go with the wheels.

If you have a jack, shop around till you find the rotors you want....Ittakes less than half an hour to jack it up, pull the tire, replace the rotor, then put it back together. Juat changed myfront rotor a couple of weeks ago, and plan on changing out me rear rotor when I replace the back tire.
