Default Seat Bolt

Can someone tell me if your local Harley dealer carries these bolts for our seats. I called and the guy doesn't know what I'm talking about. Can I order them from someplace else? Thanks

They must have a bunch in the service department - my friend got her Slim back without the bolt put back on after the bike was serviced.

It's a 1/4-20 threaded screw. A 3/4" or 1" length will do. You can find it at any hardware store.

You bolt it on the frame and if you want the solo seat you use the threaded hole to screw the seat on. I hope it makes sense.

It's threaded inside the hole so you can use the smaller screw on the solo seat.

ah that makes more sense. you're basically looking for some kind of internally threaded banjo bolt
