Well, the first plug I put in started to leak so I added another. Put a total of 450 miles on the tire until today, when I had enough cash to replace the tire. I inspected the tire when it was off the wheel; first plug was right on the path the nail took. When it started to leak and I put another plug beside it I was off trajectory; one entrance hole on the tire exterior became two holes inside the tire. Guess my talents do not lend themselves to tire repair.
New tire feels great, but most important I have some peace of mind. Time for dinner, think I'll have beanie-weenies tonight...
