I wrapped the pipes on my ironhead, def need to soak the wrap prior. It helps if you just get over that your gonna make a mess. Def do not try it without help. It will look better with two people. Wait to start it til the wrap is dry to the touch. But it's gonna stink and steam no matter what.

DEI makes a wrap that don't need to be wet and will actually last longer and really is 't that mauch more expensive. They make the glass wrap too, just their Ti wrap is better

No experience with it, but from the homework I've done and pics I've see, that titanium wrap is the only way to go. ANY other color from any manufacturer is going to fade. I've used wrap in the past on other bikes and the color does not hold up. Also, once it starts to get nicked and torn, it starts to look like crap pretty fast; just my opinion. But when it's new and wrapped right, it looks pretty darn good.

I personally am also a fan of wrapping the heat shied. I prefer that fatter look. Don't like the skinny old school pipe look. But make your choice first as the wrap will cause stains and discoloration on the pipe that won't come out later. If you wrap the shield and change your mind later, it could screw up the finish a bit.

Also when wrapping, you want to overlap the wraps so that you never have any more than two layers over a particular spot along the pipe. In other words, space out your overlaps. This makes it look better anyways.
