No, it will take a little longer to go out. Once oil hits the tank and system starts to build up pressure, it will go out.

You guys are funny, but it is not the Ams...

The light staying on longer than usual is more than likely RPM related. If it's idling lower than usual (when the engine is cold) the oil light will stay lit until the idle comes up high enough (which in turn increases the oil pressure) to turn the light off.
